What do Dune by Frank Herbert, 1984 by George Orwell, and Scanner Darkly by Philip K. Dick have in common with HIGHWAY by ML Banner?
Yes, they’re all examples of classic science fiction, but there’re something else…
They are part of a selected reading list in Amazon Prime Reading.
My book (HIGHWAY) was among only 67 others–in all of Amazon–which were blessed by their editors to be listed under the Science Fiction category of Amazon Prime Reading for three months. As you can see on the image, it’s currently ranked 16th (Herbert’s little book is only three spaces ahead) among these many stellar books.
If you’re not familiar, Prime Reading is one of the many benefits of an Amazon Prime Membership. I’ve been a member for years, mostly because I order a lot of stuff over Amazon and I like the free 2nd Day shipping, that comes with the membership.
By the way, Amazon’s currently offering a discounted membership promo you might want to look at (see below). I pay $99 per year (I think) and you can get this for only $5.99 per month. So you might want to check it out.
Anyway, one of the bennies to Prime (in addition to the free shipping, streaming video and streaming music services) is a special selection of free books each month. There are several hundred available, but just sixty-seven in sci-fi. And as part of the membership, you can now download and read HIGHWAY among all the other great books for free.
I feel honored to have my book included with such greats. And as a member of Prime, I’ve already downloaded a couple of new books (going to try to read more for 2018).
And now I’ve given you another reason to take HIGHWAY for a spin, if you haven’t already.
